Beauty update- What’s in my bag?

Hello Everyone!

I’ve always wanted to do a ‘what’s in my bag’ post and since I’m packing for holidays it was the perfect time to do one.

So this is what I’ve chosen to bring on a two week holiday. I’m trying not to bring too much as I will be raiding Sephora as soon as I land in Vegas. Have I packed too much?! Let’s see…

Tools

Since I can’t bring my entire Nima brush starter set I’ve decided on the following:

From top to bottom

Nima – Foundation brush

Nima – Eyeshadow blender brush

Nima – Concealer brush

Eco tools –  2 x eyeshadow brushes

Bperfect brow brush

Some other tools I’m bringing are

Precision Beauty Eyelash curler  €5.99 TKMAX

Bella beauty makeup sponge  €5.99 TKMAX

Face

MAC studio fix fluid NW25 (full coverage for night time)

Rimmel Match Perfection  – which isn’t in this photo as I need to buy a new bottle! (lighter coverage for day although I doubt I’ll be wearing it that much!)

Essence eyeshadow base concealer from Primark (swear by this & so affordable think it’s about €3)

Collection concealer in colour 1 fair. This is very pale but good for under my eyes and outlining my brows. Bought in Primark (same as above so good and affordable)

Brows n’ lashes

I love all the new benefit brow range but if I had to choose three it would be these:

Benefit – Precisely my Brow pencil

Benefit – Ka Brow

Benefit – Gimme brow

(See full post here on all of these products and how I use them!)

I’ll also be bringing the BPerfect brow powder which I’ve fallen back in love with.

Benefit ‘- they’re real mascara’. I love this mascara it’s a skinny wand and really spreads out your lashes. So natural with no clumps!

On a side note I’m heading to the new Benefit store on fleet St. just before I go away to get my lashes and brows tinted (pre holiday tradition!) So excited to see the new store again since the launch it’s like a princess doll house. Don’t forget you can get 20% off products and services in this new store if you use code ‘BloggerBoutique’ when booking.

Inglot palette  – These palettes are great as you can mix and match colours from various ones you’ve collected over time and slot them into the one! I’ve chosen mostly autumnal warm colours which I like to use all year round.

The Balm Nude’tude palette – this is great for taking away because it has daytime nudes and some sparkly night time shades too.

Lipsticks

It was very hard not to bring every lipstick under the sun. I chose two nudes and two more ‘night time’ lippies.

From right to left:

Urban Decay – Back talk – Vice Collection

MAC – Yash

Urban decay – Firebird – Vice Collection

H&M – Lady of the Manor

BenefitCheekathon

I really shouldn’t be bringing a palette this big but I just can’t help myself. The benefit cheekathon has every shimmer and blusher colour I would need in one! Plus the packaging makes me happy 🙂

Eh… suncream?

I know this is verging into my toiletires bag more then my makeup bag but I got these only yesterday so thought I’d share.

Piz Buin factor 30 €12 in Boots.

I choose this one because it’s ‘light’ in that it’s not a thick sticky cream where your entire body is left white afterwards. The spray gives this great coverage with little waste (unlike those aerosole ones that blow away in the wind) and it dries nearly instantly. Plus … it’s smells insane !!

Hawaiin Tropic after sun €10 in Boots

Picked this one because of its Aloe gel and clearly because it also smells insane… coconut papaya? Yes please!

It was buy one get one half price so I actually got both for €17!

So that’s what’s in my holiday make up bag!

I hope you enjoyed this post – let me know if I’m missing any essentials.
