I’ve introduced a few new products to my daily skincare routine so thought I would share them with you. Here is what I use every evening and morning. This does not include weekly face masks or sheets I also use.
I’m pretty sure I have ‘normal skin’ type. I don’t have very visible pores, my skin is not sensitive and I rarely get breakouts. If you aren’t sure what skin type you are you can use this guide which might help.
Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Botanical Cleansing Oil. €38
I use this oil in the evening to take off my makeup and first thing in the morning. I pump two pumps of oil directly into the palm of my hands and rub them together gently. I then rub the oil all over my face and eyes and wash off with warm water.
The oil is lightweight and suitable for all skin types. It’s more suitable for evening use due to the lavender and primrose oils which relax the skin preparing it for night time.
Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water €5 Boots or Primark
I double cleanse my sin with the garnier miscellar water. I have tried a few variations of this water but it is by far the best. I use it on a cotton pad and rub all over my face.
Lancome Energie De Vie €43.50
The next two products I use in variation. They’re both for brightening/plumping the skin so I use either this pearl lotion or the water cream below. I use this product after a double cleanse and before moisturising.
I have written a full review of Energie De Vie Here.
But basically I love it!
Uriage Eau Thermale Light Water Cream €18
This light water cream is all about hydration. It is suitable for normal to combination skin and offers 24hr hydration while also creating a barrier effect to limit dehydration.
Once I have placed this on my skin I see an instant plumpness and almost an illumination.
Clarins HydraQuence Cream €47
The final stage of my skincare routine is a moisturiser. Once either the pearl lotion or water cream above has dried into my skin I use the Clarins Hydraquence cream. I’ve been using this moisturiser for nearly four years now and I don’t think I will ever use anything else.
So that sums up my current daily skincare routine for evening and morning. If you have any questions, please leave them below.
